This Nathan unit started its life as a top compartment to a nathan sideboard.  We decided to separate the pair. So Instead of sending this piece to the recycle yard we thought we could convert it into a cabinet suitable for a hallway or anywhere in the home it would be suitable for.
We have added 16" black pin legs to get the height so its more suitable for everyday use. 
The  interior and exterior has all been painted in annebell duke pitch black and sealed with polyvine black satin varnish which brings out the black and also gives the piece a nice shiny surface and makes also more durable.
For the door fronts we have gone with a  stencil contemporary modern design in which we  use a pigment gold paint.
