The Grace and Ethel handpainted furniture company was established in 2016. We are situated in North Hertfordshire in a small town called Letchworth Garden City. We specialise in sourcing updating unique unwanted, vintage and retro furniture and turning them in to something beautiful and new. Most of the pieces are one of a kind, its very rare we replicate a piece, only if specifically requested by a client. All our pieces are painted in a range of styles from farmhouse, Art deco, shabby chic to a more modern sleek finish. We use a top quality mineral paint which gives a lovely smooth finish. We search all four corners of the uk to find the perfect pieces to suit our clients specifications. I do offer a custom services where we can collect and deliver your piece(s), or if there a particular piece you would like me to create i can source, design and have your piece delivered to you. So if there's anything you are looking for specifically please feel free to get in touch . I am also associate of the house of upcycling among some very talented furniture artist and upcylers. Samantha is a cut above many people out there @up cycling' furniture. she has a very creative /artist eye and makes unique, quality pieces for the home. I brought bedside drawers from her and loved them so much i then brought a bureau and chest of drawrers to match and she painted them in the same style for me. They have been much admired in my home.
